Materials

Different environmental conditions demand different materials. AAI can supply all our products in any of the following materials:

• Aluminium Alloy
• Stainless Steel
• Mild Steel
• GRP

As a quick guide, for general conditions, and most applications Galvanised Mild Steel is appropriate, however ... Stainless Steel should be used in saline conditions or around potable water.

Aluminium Alloy can be used in places where high humidity is experienced.

GRP is often called upon where the product may come into contact with acids, or acidic solutions.
